Reverberate Quilt Pattern

Since I began quilting in 2013, I’ve always loved pairing traditional geometric shapes with modern designs, styles, and fabrics. I love to have fun with a nod towards tradition, and that just about sums up what the Reverberate Quilt Pattern is all about! This pattern features squares and Flying Geese blocks, which are obviously not anything new, but arranges them in a fun, modern design!

Reverberate Quilt Sizes

The Reverberate quilt pattern includes 6 sizes from Wall Hanging to big bed sizes! And it’s block-based too, so you could make it to really suit your needs. Here are the dimensions of each size:

Wall Hanging: 24″ x 24″
Baby: 36″ x 48″
Lap: 48″ x 60″
Throw: 60″ x 72″
Twin: 72″ x 96″
Queen/King: 96″ x 108″

Fat Quarter Friendly

One of my favorite ways to purchase fabric is in Fat Quarter bundles, and I know I’m not alone! If you also tend to collect FQ bundles, this pattern is a perfect way to actually sew some of them up into totally snuggly & usable home decor!

Reverberate is AccuQuilt Friendly, too

While the majority of the pattern is written so it can be cut with a rotary cutter & quilting rulers, there are a couple extra pages just for you AccuQuilt-lovers out there! I personally have been using an AccuQuilt for a little while now and try to use it as often as I can. This pattern is a great opportunity to use it for precise cutting on lots of little pieces!

Helpful Tools & Tutorials

One special technique the Reverberate quilt pattern employs is the 4-at-a-time No-Waste Flying Geese method (if you’re not using AccuQuilt to cut the pieces). For trimming the Flying Geese, these are some great ruler options that you can consider. My personal favorite is currently the Wing Clipper ruler.
